Weird Light bulb?

I bought my 2002 protege5 used and i have h4 wiring harness cuz i bought some bluish h7 and they were too small so it turns out that h4 fit but anyways so should i get and HID kit with H4 or H7?

low beams are H7 - stock bulbs are supplied with an adpater

the sedan headlights have H4 bulbs. Did the previous owner maybe switch out the headlights? Do you have separate high and low beams? Or just one bulb?

I have them separate but if the previous owner switched the headlights that means he switched the wiring harness right? So then should i get the HID kit but with H4's?

why would he switch the wiring harness to H4 though? you're sure the bulb is H4? If it is then I guess get the H4 kit...

I just got a used 03 protege5, and the previous owner had lost the adapter (see the attached file) on one side, so they just found a larger bulb that fit. Maybe that is your problem? I picked up the adapter for $7.50 CAD at a local dealer because with the large bulb the light output was terrible.
