Toyota Surpasses GM in 1st Quarter Sales for the First Time!

This doesn't surprise me much. GM appears to be getting off the mat though. I personally am excited for the Astra finally hitting US shores. I see them selling very well.

Yeah, no surprises. Imagine what they can do when they get back in the sports car market!

NOt surprised either. The last couple of years, toyota's are actually not ugly. The new camry, Lexus linueup looks fantastic, even the new tundra is great looking. Has anyone noticed how the New tundra is on tv everywhere. Kent was driving one on smallville last week, jack on 24....2 shows there that used to have domestics sponssers seem to have gone to toyota

Toyota is marketing the Tundra pretty hardcore because it isn't meeting their world takeover sales goal. They downplay their desires for world domination in the news but it is no secret. They have two Tundra plants now and they aren't meeting sales goals. Inevitably, they cut jobs. They just let my brother and nearly 400 other people know that they are getting layed off in two weeks. And they have already layed off earlier this year. At least the new lesser experienced employees in San Antonio have jobs.

Oh, and the new Camry is hideous. Give me an Altima, '08 Accord or Saturn Aura for that matter.
