Is that gutter guard over the stock grill? It looks like it is. Maybe paint it black?

ya gutter guard it is. i was thinking of painting it but i have rims that match the color as it is and just not sure why id put that mesh on when the stocker is black.

As is, I don't look at it and think "ooh, custom grill", I think, "ew, gutter guard". No offence meant, you've done a nice job with it, but it doesn't do anything for me.

A lot of people aren't going to like it, but they aren't the ones who are calling the shots.
If I were to do what you did, I would remove the mazda logo from the old grill. Either fly the M or remove it, don't hide it. But that's just me.

Well the M is off and that is just the frame where the M would sit. Kinda cant see it when its light out - flash of the camera kinda brings it out. I was thinkin of dremel-ing it out but thats just too much work.

Great feedback keep them comin.

Those pictures really show the Mazda logo! I can't believe it's that visible even with the silver piece off!

You may also want to make a matching grill for the lower opening. That would look better. That's a big ugly hole down there, and matching it up to the top would make both look better, if it's not too much shiny silver!

Bottoms are still pending as well as the fog covers, the curve is kinda tricky. I'm trying to find out what is best to do with it. Example, I can either keep the length of the piece I have and keep it square and just flare the ends as it gets closer to the fogs or I can cut it to the length before the fog portion starts.

i did the same thing but, then i did something better (peep)

Yah I'll see if I get bored of this, but it was a nice project to do. BTW where did you obtain that radiator cowl - I've been trying to find one, but have been unsuccessful. Hopefully thats what they call it otherwise i've been looking for the wrong thing :D.
