Conrod specs

:
2001 323 Astina SP20 (P5)
could someone please provide me with the specs for our stock rods?

ie big end width, pin end width, pin size, big end size etc.

can tonight yeah.

as a suplementary question to the above, how high can the wrist pin be moved up in a piston? MAM pushed it up 2mm with their 5.4" long rods, would 2.8mm be ok (custom pistons ofcourse)

Mind if I jump in and ask for specs on the FP rods as well?, they are a different part number.

I'm thinking about installing forged rods and pistons in my 1.8 for turbocharging. Searching this forum, I've seen people say that FP rods are stronger. Is this true? If so, how much stronger?

well the reason why i'm asking for these details - has anyone looked at using rods from other engines?

i found out that the toyota 3sgte rods are 5.432" long, have the same big end specs (according to a site i found) and are cheap as. all you'd need is custom pistons - cant imagine they'd be insanely expensive - well would certainly still come in less than off the shelf forged protege rods and pistons

and our rod ratio becomes 1.5:1 - up from 1.469 stock, 1.491 MAM rods

engine shot (kinda) attached - only 1 i could find at the moment

oh and fp rods are no stronger, but are under less stress because the rod ratio is far nicer to the rods, thus can handle more before snapping in 2 (or more)
