np. I like 2, as do you I presume. #3 was just me being real bored this morning so I figured I could have some fun. Oh well. If ya need anything else, lemme know!

oh, anytime you bored, some wallpaper, or poster thing would be cool :)

just kidding.

Oh, I liked the 1st sig as well, but the Newf thing got in the way of the cool design of the pics.

oceanpark: I did a review on the MP3 vs speed when I test drove it a while back. In the Mazdaspeed section under Yehawww my Speed is here...

Summed up. Steering is looser on the Speed, the MP3 is more precise when turning but harder to turn. Speed doesn't follow as many ruts though, and you don't have to hold on the wheel so hard all the time. She rides a little quiter, tire noise isn't as obvious, hits bumps a little better. Front end is tighter with less sway, rear is the same as mp3. Overall, car feels more smooth then the mp3 for daily use, and less harsh. Shifter is better as well.

Better Acceleration is noticeable right away, even before turbo kicks in. Now, it's no Vette or STI mind you, but it is quicker then the mp3, and it's obvious.

Stereo at first I didn't like. Really have to spend more time setting it up before you judge it. Head unit isn't bad, not quite the quality as z828, but does ff/rewind songs much much faster and has a few options the z828 doesn't for moving to folders, and random play options etc. Display is clear, but slower, it tilts though so sunlight doesn't effect it. Highs are nice, my MP3 was a tad sharper, and sub hits a little lower in the mp3, but sub in speed is defintely louder. The flip face option is a cool gimmick. The remote is a lot smaller, thinner, and lighter, I like it. Buttons are easy to use. Overall, I'd say their about the same sound wise, with very little differences once setup properly. Mid Range is definitely better in the speed though.

After looking at paint on the Titanium for a while, the MP3 is just boring now. Plain old blue. The metallic is really nice in the tit., but needs a lot of sun to see it.

You have to see the wheels in person, and judge from there. Pics do no come out right at all.

My first attempt at a wall paper for 1024 x 768.

Fell kinda silly posting this, but don't laugh I only have Paint Shop Pro 5 on my office machine

Basically, it's a shot of my car pasted onto a close up shot of the paint over the front wheel.

Titanium Wallpaper

thanks rmedoc....I know your laughing at all the errors on it :)

Just kidding

I parked next to the other speed in town today with the mp3. Orange one this is. Thing hasn't been taking care of as well as my mp3. With the mp3 parked next to it, the orange just looked old, the paint/wheels pale. Poor car needed wax badly. You would have thought the mp3 was the newer one. Very happy I waited for the titanium though, just fits my personality much more. No regrets.

All I can say is this, if you see any speed in person, make sure to see it a couple of times before judging either color. Depending on the lighting around it, they all can be different shades of their color at times.

Wow Newf. Those pics are awesome. I'm truly amazed at how much light that car reflects. I bet at night it looks ten shades darker, since it's not a bright color. It's just incredible to me how the metal flake catches the light and throws it back at you. Beautiful.

My local dealer should have 3 titaniums soon, and with the rebate, well, I'm stilll not gonna do it. But maybe next year. Heh.

Newf my man! I need something from you ASAP! Its for a project I am working on. Can you shoot me a high res pic of your new MSP from an angle that resembles the angle in this shot below. I basically need a shot from 30-40 degree angle, and the same 2272x1704 resolution you sent me your mp3 pics in would be perfect. Thanks man! I'll obviously show youthe project when I am finished, for now, its a surprise!

you can send it to islandzoom@hawaii.rr.com

well, I would do it today if I could....killer is, after having near 3 weeks of sun, now we got a week of rain. It's not supposed to be nice out until Monday :(

If you can wait, I'll get it for you, no problem. You got me anxious now :)

There are a couple I forgot to post, and all these pics here, I shrunk from their original res. They are all 2272x1704, but I thought that was a "little" too big for here :)

Jason, I would say the pics of the car on the side of the road, near the grass are spot on to the color of the car. The other pics are a little lighter then I usually see it. It was a really sunny day that day, and yes, in pure sunlight she's a really light color.

In the night, as headlights hit it, and street lights hit it, the metallic still shines through. it's nice. It is a little darker at night. I've seen the car like 5 different colors since i've had it. in the rain it has this cool blue'ish grey glow to it. In the sun, it looks like steel. It's really neat.

rmedoc. If you want any of the originals, just list em, and I'll send em. Or I'll setup the ftp again.

Wanna know something funny about these pics?

It's not waxed. This was the day after I picked it up from the dealer. They washed it like a month ealier and stuck it in the showroom, and I picked up straight from the showroom. Tires weren't even done. I drove it around on the highway a bit as well, so she's not even perfectly clean. Can't tell though :)

I waxed it the other day, and man, she needed it badly. Paint was rough as hell. Now she's even purdier.

I don't know why I'm posting this.

Asking for ebarassment I guess.

I want to do something else with it, but not sure.

I know one thing, I have to get rid of paint shop 5 on my office machine. I got better stuff at home, so maybe I'll "test" some of it on my work machine next week. Everything is too hard in Paint shop 5....imagine...5 is all we got here.

yeah, I am use ps 8 sometimes. Amazing how different the versions got.

I can wait for the pic for a few days, not a problem. Got the in-laws in town anyways, so my computer time is limited thanks to them. I got some other work to get done as well, so I'll just work on yoru when I get the chance. Thanks man!

BTW, the wallpaper doesn't look that bad, you just need a more precise shot of the interior. If you attempted a blur effect, you got it, but its too blurred. Try 50% of the blur technique with about 70% opacity, and it'll clear it right up!
