Steering wheels

I happened to be looking at a MSP's interior and liked the look of the steering wheel. I was wondering if i could replace the P5 wheel with the MSP wheel and also if any one had ever done this before.

yes you can do it,except for the color,gray and black msp,black for p5,its the exact same steering wheel,but dont forget to transfer the cruise control unit....

I'd trade someone who'd maybe want one w/ yellow stitch. I have my MSP one laying around still (I replaced it w/ a Momo).

I'd love to not have a yellow stitched one. I hate you Mazda for using yellow.

Anyone know if they make a wheel like the msp wheel but except gray its blue? Doesnt nardi make one if anyone knows where to get one let me know.

use common sense... any stock s*** will have to come from mazda itself or from a car.... contracting OEM suppliers always means the part maker themselves can't sell those parts they made! if it wasn't so, then racing beat and callaway would be selling all of that MSP s*** already!

Do you have a problem you had some smart comment to say about one of my other post before. How is it common sence to know where to get a nardi wheel jack ass you dont have to get them all through mazda. I asked if nardi made a wheel with blue I dont want to get a stock wheel through mazda and pay a fortune. I thought someone else has said you can get them for 200 but there isnt alot of info why I asked. I didnt say I had to have the exact miata wheel ive seen them on ebay its not even the blue I am looking for.

I've looked around on sites that sell Nardi wheels and I have yet to see one that actually sells a wheel similar to the one they designed for Mazda.

I see a bunch of wood ones and stuff, which look really nice but well... would look like CRAP in our cars

before you get your panties in a knot, read what I said... "from mazda itself or a car".... I didn't say you HAVE to get it from mazda.... so go find yourself a miata, break in and steal the steering wheel... it's not MY problem if you got caught

It's a great looking wheel, it might be worth it. I don't know how much help mazda would be getting it for you (might not be able to at all). Finding a 10AE Miata would be pretty tough too. Ever think of looking for a custom upholstery shop that would be able to replace the leather cover on your wheel with a black/blue one? Maybe a place that does classic car rennovation or something.

Yeh I figured it would look good since I have a blue stitched boot and im going to get the mazda shift knob on protegegarage with blue on the sides.

I have/had that knob (not in the car anymore) with red leather with my red stitched boot. It looked great with it.
