Today I partially installed my autometer electric boost gauge.
It was not too difficult and I like the fact that autocalibrates everytime along with peak and warning light options.
I have been driving the speed for a year and I never realize how much feedback a boost gauge gives.
It reads 20 Hg at idle and it looks like it is working well. I read 5.5 PSI at readline about in everygear. I also notice that with my driving style I barely hit boost and that was a surprise to mee.
I have a midpipe, turboback, k&n filter and besides reading a pretty much constistent 6.5 psi at WOT I notice that in second gear at WOT I hit 7.5 8 psi.
I was surprise by that as well.
I guess the midpipe really helps.
I hope to finalize the location either by using an autometer cup or MAM new cluster design.
Thanks
