Buy new wheels, or get some plain (or OEM) wheel covers. I've never been a fan of steelies with no wheel covers. I think it makes any car look at least several years older.

Or it makes your car look like a sleeper :) I say take em off and get trim rings.

Well it's the same car either way. It's no more of a sleeper whether it has wheel covers on or not. If you want to have a sleeper, boost the performance of it.

Steelies are cool. Don't be ashamed of them.

Steelie PRIDE!

If you run your car in the winter time with alot of snow/salt on the roads, who cares how the car looks.

Get some stock Mazda wheel covers, or just rock the steelies.

Or if you don't want to pay for OEM wheel covers, just get something generic like this.

I personally think the bare black steel wheels look too unfinished on the car.

Looking like a sleeper sort of defeats the purpose. A sleeper is a car that looks stock but really isn't. The whole idea is not being able to tell. Trim rings belong on crappy trucks from the 70s.

Anyways, steel wheels with no hubcaps looks ghetto as hell. Taking the hubcaps off just makes people think they got stolen or you're too broke to buy a set for $50. At the very least ditch those chrome ones and put the stocks back on.

Try searching eBay for '15" trim rings'
http://search.ebay.com/search/searc...r=1&from=R8&satitle=15"+trim+rings&category0=

They are designed for trucks but most 2" rings will fit on car steelies. Polished ones are best but chrome plated steel ones are cheap.

Another option is to paint your steelies a different color (silver, gunmetal, white, blue, etc). I was thinking mine might look cool in laser blue or white.

Yeah...that is what I'm leaning towards...except that white isn't exactly easy to keep clean in the winter.

Its the winter, my car stays filthy till atleast mid Feb cause it usually starts to warm up here by then. Hell it was 61 yesterday. (boom03)

61*? Did you wash your car? :) Hell I washed my car yesterday because it reached 38*F!

If not, shame on you... (wiggle)
