I NEED this stereo for my Pro5. I don't even care if it just sits there...

if only they made a headunit that could play records.....

HAHA...

I like the looks of it but to me, there is WAY to much going on with it, just like just about every other car stereo that I have seen lately!

I would much rather spend a few hundred more and swing for a T.V. Than get a kickass alarm!

Nothing like chillin' in the living room, getting "nrml'ized" and watchin' the wheels go 'round and 'round (thumb)

I had one of these Pioneers. Shoulda never let it go...

wow...you jacked your own thread (cheers)

i've been looking for a two track reel to reel to run into my mBox into the mac...that way i'll have the analog sound with the digital production! i'm only recording one track at a time anyway, but they're a little too pricey and i don't trust ebay at all for something like that

They did in the '50's. "Under Dash"..... (thumb)
Thanks, I just knew someone had to have made one of those back then.

hey,

don't let the wattage fool you. I have a 100watt Fender Solid state guitar amp and a 30watt Fender Tube amp and let me tell you. Volume three on the tube amp out powers the solid state at full volume. My solid has dual 10s and my tube has a single 12" and the sound of tubes is amazing

Wattage is relatively meaningless at the "high end", at least when discussions surround tube amps and extremely efficient speakers. I've seen 15w x 1 (one per channel) power tube amps go for +$1200, and then run them into $10,000 speakers...

Automotive-wise though, it'd be nice to have something that didn't cost a gazzilion dollars but was low key so that Johnny Punkricer didn't sodomize your dash once he decides to jack it..

Yeah, but does it go to 11? (thumb)

Why dont you just make 10 louder and make 10 be the top number, and make that a little louder?

Notice my "Normal" is only set at 3. I think I need to crank that up.
