calling all miatas -->

Sig somewhat fixed I think. I'm going to look into more information on the Miatas. I would miss my MSP if I got rid of it, and I like the idea of having two cars. Thanks!

Thanks for fixing it without whining. +rep

Hey, if I would have had the money to keep my MSP and get the miata, I would have, but the Miata won the "there can be only one" battle of cars in my head.

Full repaint and custom bodywork

Bought the car off ebay about 2 years ago. Crashed it drifting, made the decision to do all the bodywork right off the bat, then do the power mods the following year. The bodyshop took awhile to do what they did, but I was and still am very happy with the job. Everything was molded and is holding up great.

Did all the mechanical work myself this past winter. Learned a ton and makes me appreciate the car even more. This winter I will be fixing some small things, such as the IC pipes, and the oil return from the turbo. Going to do some more power work to it and turn the boost up to 15psi and see what I do on the dyno in the spring.

The car made 175hp at 6100rpms and 168lbs of torque. The boost was set to 8 and spiked once to 10. The car was having problems with the AFM and in the higher rpms it was disconnecting. I was told before and would guess that up at 7200rpms I would be close to 190hp at the current 8psi.

Anyway...just introducing myself. Not sure how many of you are from the miata.net forum. This forum seems to have more protege/mp3 members than anything. But still another place to come for Miata advice....right (thumb)

i think theres more but just cant think off the top of my head lol
vash HAD me beat on a few things but i think im starting to fly by him muahahaha

haha, niice.

i have a question.

does anyone have (haven't seen) or know anyone who has used the windblocker subwoofers?

I can not use it due to roll bar which i think everyone with a miata should get! But i do have a sub in the trunk and also made a box before for the pass. foot space which worked pretty good. I also installed 6x9's in the rear deck lid behind the seats that works well and you can really hear them good. im sure you could install some 8" free air subs there also.

I think Moss motors carries it.

i don't remember it being on moss, but i know good win has it. i was asking if anyone anyone used it..or has heard it, stuff like that.

I was driving out of the city towards California today and got caught in a massive traffic jam. Dumb me not thinking that every Californian would be leaving Vegas on the evening of a 3-day weekend. Well, I kept on getting stuck in traffic next to a clean NA Miata with the plate "GAY BOI". I took a cellphone pic but it came out too fuzzy. I wanted to shake the guy's hand for reinforcing the stereotype. Not that there's anything wrong with it.
