I have a Carfax report and its clean so it has to have been done by the owner. There are no wrecks or damage reported..man if I can find a screw up, carfax has to pay for the car!!

honestly it looks like maybe it was repaired b.c when i got rear ended they tried to give me an ES wing and the chrome badges like you have... they didnt know there was a difference for the mazdaspeeds b.c they went through a regular mazda dealership who gave them regular part numbers. i will also say that only one of my 3 accidents was reported to carfax and shows on my car fax report .the other 2 were not reported by the state b.c I was not physically hurt. .not to try an scare you or anything.

If I were you I will start by getting catback and trunk/spoiler.
Then you can get rims and and she will be fine.
She is for sure an MSP.

yeah my accident did not show up on carfax at all. and whenever they ordered parts they ordered ALL protege parts and i had to go back and make them get all mazdaspeed parts. maybe it was rear ended and the previous owner didn't car about what wa put on the car. or maybe the dealer bought it messed up and did the repairs (they wouldn't have known about mazdaspeed parts most likely)

yeah thats what happened to mine too as i stated earlier. the only reason it didnt come out of the shop looking like that is b.c i went in there everyday to document everything and i wouldnt let them put parts on till they got the right ones hehe

would what show up with what kind of vin check? the accident? i ran carfax on my msp and it showed clean. and i was told before the repairs started that they wouldn't report it to carfax (i dont care one way or another on it. dont plan on selling it anytime soon. )
