my sore throat started on Thursday, it reached it's peak last night so I went to the doc this morning. The nurse looks me over and asks me questions first, she says that my case is extreme. So when the doc comes in he has a look and he's like "WOW, That's impressive!!"... like i put in extra effort to make is worse or something. He then tells me it's the worse case of strep-throat he's ever seen.

I of course can't see down the back of my own throat so I tried taking a pic with my Nikon 5900... I'm impressed by how it turned out. And the one I'm posting is re-sized, at it's original res/size it looks like a cave.

I don't know much about the throat or what it's supposed to look like. All I know is that my strep-throat hurts almost as bad as the shot of penicillin they gave me in the ass.

Thanks! I sure hope so. The only real reason I started this thread was to post the pic. The macro setting on my camera works great.

When I used to get sore throats, I remember looking in the mirror and seeing my tonsils so inflamed that my uvula would be stuck to one of them(I'm lopsided I guess). Never had them removed though (shrug).

Been there. I've had severe cases of strep throat, with a 105 degree fever. Also got the penicillin shot in the ass cheek. I started feeling better a couple hours later.

Yeah, about two hours after the shot and some ibuprofen I feel almost normal now.
