My P5 Was Vandalized

My husband said when he left for work this morning at 650am there wasn't anything on my car... he opened the garage door and closed it behind him..

then at 1030am i went to toss some trash out, and that's when i saw all this!!

the police came and made a report, and they reported it as burglary because whoever did this opened my garage door and closed it when they left.

was it your own white paint as well or did they bring that with them? totally weird.. was anything else in the garage touched??

People open garage doors by putting like a cinder block (or other "block") in front of the door and then using something like a rod to pry the door up, using the block for leverage.

Yeah, it looks like latex paint, but if it's oil based paint, then it'll be difficult to remove.

perhaps your husband forgot to close the garage? Otherwise you must have done something to piss someone off, enough for him/her to break into your garage (criminal offense), only to vandalize your car, but left everything else untouched. !!!!! Bizard!

That just makes no sense, somebody would open your garage, put some paint on your car and leave? Have either of you done something to piss somebody off? I'm not trying to accuse you guys or anything, it just seems like too much effort to pry open a garage door just to dump some paint on a car.
Unless the door never got closed, then I could see some punk kids doing something like that. But if the door was closed it seems like this would have been more than a random act of "violence".
Whatever the reason, that sucks and I hope you guys get it squared away.
