New to Maryland: Tracks?

:
Mazda MP3, 2004 Ram 3500 Diesel, 2001 Kawasaki Ninja
I just moved to Aberdeen and I'm looking for some tracks around here; drag, road, dirt, anything that involves going fast. The closer to Aberdeen the better.
Thanks

Thank you,
I just had a Clutchmaster's Stage 3 clutch and Fidanza 9lb flywheel installed before I went to Ft. Benning and I haven't had time to try it out yet. I'd also like to run my diesel with the upgrades on it.
Is it any good on the friday night grudge match runs? How many runs does a typical car make in one night?

Yeah, I haven't done autoX since 03 but I'd love to go out again. I'm within walking distance of Ripken Stadium. Is there a site or phone number where I can get a schedule?
Thanks

www.myautoevents.com lists the Aberdeen autoxes. In particular, Philly SCCA runs there and so does Autocrossers Inc.

This Saturday, Sept. 17, the Subaru Challenge is happening at Ripken and Shawn and I will be running my mom/brother's cars out there if you want to come watch.

friday night grudge match is the only time i've ever gone up.. it's a good time. the people are cool (a lot of rednecks, but no problems whatsoever).. if you get there by 6pm you should be able to get in 4 or 5 runs assuming no accidents.. it's really a nice track to take a crowd up there and just have a blast..

warning: no shorts allowed if you are racing. if you show up in shorts they won't let you race. if you forget, they have some kick ass cecil county dragway sweat pants for sale.. thankfully i've never had to wear those. (thumb)

Yeah, I saw that on their site, I'll keep a spare pair of pants in the car from now on. 4-5 runs sounds decent.

Sounds good, I'd love to come check it out.

welcome to the area carbon, youll have to make it to a MEC event next time we have a gathering. its a low kep club that likes to hang around and chill and do some stuff be it shows autox lunch or dinner things and even movie nites.

Here is the link to the MEC board: http://www.msprotege.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=184

That is where most of the action occurs in the DC/Baltimore area. We don't check the MD or VA boards very much.

Yeah, if you want to meet on Sat., send me a PM and I'll give you my cell #. We'll probably be in either his Spicy Orange MSP or my Laser Blue P5 (maybe).

Here are some photos and videos from the subie meet

Thanks for the info, sounds great, I'm in. I'm way out of my league with the mods on my car, but hopefully I'll have my AEM EMS installed and programmed by then.

congrats to both of you. Those finishes counted towards your points, right? I had a little trouble after the meet, I hit a few screws or nails from the stadium construction site and lost a tire. I found Sunday morning when I was leaving for work. Luckily I have the truck here too.
