(Lets see if we can actually have a clean thread)

I find myself being surprised at members with Hiboost kits by reading people's sigs.

So... I don't think has been done before. Post ONLY if you are a Hiboost Turbo Kit Owner and your surrounding mods engine based (BOV, Injectors, E6X/F10, piping, etc) .

I'll Start

Base Kit with
Haltech F10
440cc Injectors
HKS BOV
Ceramic Coated Turbo Housing, Manifold and DP
Hiboost 8.5:1 Compression Pistons (Ceramic Coated, coated skirts)
3" Piping turbo back
High Flow Car
3" Titanium Muffler

I think I have some 40,000K on the kit and not so much as a bolt has come loose.

And thats it, unless you count the new NGK Iridium plugs I just put it. I will also soon be the proud owner of the new intake that Juan has designed. I also have the haltech boost controller, but it isn't hooked up.

No pics. My engine bay is permantly filthy. Trust me.

Ceramic coated jet black everything to the downpipe with some product called TurboX 2000 or something like that (good to 2000 degrees)
2.5 turbo back crush bent with only a resonator
PWR Radiator
Stock rods and pistons for now
Stock clutch until I can afford an upgrade
8-9 psi daily, I have turned it up to 15 but the stock clutch didnt like that at all.

I would say I have maybe 2k miles on the kit now. I installed it after a major wreck ($8k in damages) and the car started right up no problem. Not a single problem with the kit other than an idle problem on restart but I have traced that to a bad vacc tap. So far I love the kit! Very solid, not a single worry so far and I dont expect one.

yes, I cut the hose shorter and solved the problem....(naughty)

I think you guys are talking apples and oranges: Hiboost Turbo Kit vs Hibbost FMIC.

soon to have the new intake design since the old one is breaking my coilpacks and chafing my wires
Greddy Profec B II Boost Controller run 6psi daily... bump up to 8 once and awhile Auto Tranny :(
Greddy Evo Catback (from n/a days)

Here's a pic right after install pre Greddy BOV (imagine a big purple shiny thing where the cheap HKS one is) i have the stock spark plug wires on there now too

Former HiBoost owner here. Heres a pic and specs anyways:

Base kit + HKS SSQV, RC440 Injectors, E6X upgrade
Ceramic Coated in TurboX2000
2.5 inch crush bent from the turbo DP all the way to the muffler (no name)

On the dyno I only made about 240 I think (I may be remembering wrong) because I was slipping at anything over 8 psi.
