MPI Tuner install?

Anybody have a pic of their MPI tuner install? I'm just looking for a good idea of where i should tap into all the wires. I'm really visual, so verbal/written descriptions don't do much for me.
I *HATE* wiring and i *HATE* soldering, so I'm probably going to pay my buddy like $50 to do all the soldering for me (cuz i'm the master of cold-solders)

I have all the instructions of how to do it, but I was wondering if someone had a pic of the end result. Something my buddy can work with to get everything tapped properly the first time.

this is from the origional mpi install but this is where i tapped into the ecu wiring, it is the only pic i have, you will have alot of extra wire so i suggest trimming it to the right length and zip tying it into wire bundles. best pic i have so sorry abt that

you speak in tongues *hiss* :P

man... my car's STILL not on the road. I tried to make my speedometer work, now it's not working at ALL :(

in the instructions.. they keep referring to the "PCM"... what is?

and is the turbo module supposed to tapping in closer to the engine or to the ECU than the MPI?

tm get's tapped in at the same location, some of the wires bypass the pcm/ecu.... some dont....... they all go to the wires right before the pcm connector.

i'm assuming the "PCM" is the big-ass plug that screws into the ECU?

I'll probably untie the entire harness bit that comes into the car, just to make it a little easier to work with. What kind of wire stripper is good to use? I usually use an exacto blade, but that might be too long for this.

i just used a set of strippers you get at home depot, the straight ones with diffrent sizes,

I'll hit you up with a nice set of instructions I recently made for nick. It has pics of almost every step. I won't be able to get them uploaded until tomorrow afternoon, but you will have them! The file may be too big, if so, I'll have to send them to you, but I would like to put them on the forum for everyone.

Good luck with your install to man! Let us know how it goes when you get the MPI.

Doesn't matter. Parallel configuration for the TM and MPI.

my turbo module is tapped in by gear shifter on the driver side. As a matter of fact my instructions gave strick warnings to do this. Something about frying coils or something, but also my instructions had two steps that should have been removed as well.

Elemetal was the one who installed mine and we had LinuxRacer and Mazdaspeed75 on the phone as well.

i kinda doubt it.. but does the MPI Tuner double as a TT?
My EIC is my TT, so i suppose i'll have to buy one of those, too

nope, but I bought a TT off of Ebay for $1.99 and it works great as a matter of fact protege garages has it for $119 on their site, but if you search on Ebay you may find it real cheap.

Thanks to Micah, here is where the instructions are. They are a little more then 5MB. And here is also a pic of how it looked when I was done. Some of the pics are blurry, but it's hard to get a clear pic with all the wires in the background. This should help you out.
