Umm need opinions? UPDATE PG2 NEW PIC

So i was bored yesterday and gave this a shot.
Should I leave it or try to push it in farther? I think the screen is a little too big for the headrest though.

opinions please.

u have to use the frame, there is no way to get around it that i see

yes there is ... just have to flush the screen in real good and use some strong ass glue

hmm, well i'll cut some more of the headrest out tonight or tomorrow and try it.
now i need a spot to mount my dvd player too.
and if i decide to put another lcd in how do i split the video cable? just a regular splitter?

well i was just playing w/ it for a few min in the parking lot of work and it seems like it's going to be a motherfu(ker to get it to fit flush. i'll keep everyone updated.
any tips or advice?

for the price you paid it is hard to complain, imo

The trim piece should be placed inside the fabric so that the fabric stretches around it and behind the screen giving it a flush-look.

yeah but it's gotta go over the stitching now. so i'm going to have to play w/ it for a little bit. if this works then i'll get one for the driver side too

you need to re-upholster your head rests with the frame integrated so you can just mount it to that with a "flush" look.... it really shouldn't be much money to get both head rests done just go to a local upholstry shop, doesn't have to be a car shop and tell them what you are thinking i am sure they will be able to help out...

o btw...good luck with what ever you do man... love the headrest screen look...

ok guys how does this look?
i'm not 100% happy, it's not exactly straight, but for my 1st time i dont think it's that bad. after i hook up all the wires i'll probably go for the other headrest
