weird startup idle

recently noticed that when i start the car in the mornings and let it warm up, idle is really high for 5-10 secs. also sounds horrible like valves ticking for that 5 secs. wonder if it has anything to do with the slight incline i park on.
anyone else?

That sounds perfectly normal. It idles high for a few until the "choke" opens. Mine also makes the clicking sound, as well. I think it's just the valves waiting for oil. No big deal.
