New dyno and pics of plugs

Hey guys got redynoed today . Very dissapointed with outcome . First off the guys were having promblems getting the dyno and my cars rpms to match . Second promblem abs light came on but i know that is do to the ebrake on and the car going the ecu is like what the hell. Anyway First pull was 206whp 211tq with some detonation around 6000rpm , I heard it and the dyno guy didnt . I was liek what 206 this sucks. 2nd pull was like 1 min after first , thats another prob, what was i thinking 197whp 211tq Heard detonation again louder this time, At this point iam thinking something is wrong , They messed with hooking up again to get rpms to read and we let it cool down some . I was not going to do another pull because of the detonation and me thinking something is wrong with the dyno so we did the third pull 202 whp 2023 tq severe detonation . We shut it down and called it over for me they were going to let me go again , I really think i should have alot more than i got not sure why i didnt but . We are going to pull more timming add more fuel and redyno in the Big Dallas next time . Pics of plugs for you guys that know Iam i detonating . Sucks i was really hoping for 220 plus i know i should be there because it pulls so much more than before Mpi . Iam taking it slow though so We will get 220 plus in the near future .

Can't see anything bad in those pics of the plugs.
 
I should be puttimg down more whp and tq , its alot faster than before mpi I mean hell ibeat a gt mustang from dig with the 7 psi map

They need to be resized can anyone do that for me they have some white going up the backs of them , i really think it was detonation it was loud sounded like rocks hitting metal
 
Just because they were white does not mean it was detonating. Severe detonation, (like when you can hear it clearly) will cause little pot marks, or dark specks on the porcelan of the plug. Do you have dark specks?
 
well i had 148whp stock dyno, so +58whp isnt bad for what you have @ 10 psi. thats IMHO. Did they give u an AF readout to see what goin down.
 
What you are talking about with the white being on the grounding strap is effected by timing. You want the discoloration to stop right in the middle of the 90* bend.

none on the porcelan its on the ouside of the plugs it goes black at the bottom and about halfway up goes whiteish then back to normal color

yea it on the grouinding strap it whitish about right there then goes to normal color

i have aem wb so i was tring to watch it then got distarcted by noise but it went to 11.8 or so never really see anything over 12.2
 
well thats good at least. Im dynoing mine in june. ill make sure blackzoom is there lol

it was a really weird noise and the thing is i heard it all three pulls whats is the max numbers you have pulled in your map

yea very knowleable need to send him my head and mani to make it pretty for me so i can flow better (hump) i should have a better dyno number next time
 
I don't pull too much timing. Maybe 2 to 3 in the mid-range. I have always run 100 octane when racing. When on the street I only ran 8psi, so there was no need to back timing off. (In MY car, EVERY CAR is DIFFERENT)

yea you flow better well you think i need soem timmimng pulled then for 10 psi my 7 psi map is strong too i may run that on street and try the new map on dyno with soem 100 octane for safety i always run 93 chevron gas
