pins should be not needed and not a fan of them, but i would reccomend a different paint (white always looks good with CF hood) then get some rims, get it lowered then you ganna need some go to along with the show. Just looks kinda weird with just a CF hood.

it all depends on the quality of the hood though... if it uses the stock latching system and you can tell that the hooked part off the hood is quality then you don't have anything more to worry about then stock hoods.

as far as the rest of the car goes, do it to your sense of style it'll come out beautiful (at least to you :p :D ). the hood is a good start now you've gotta figure out where to go from here (rofl2)

Carbon fiber hoods have a tendancy to fly up at unexpected times.

Flipping up would be caused by the stock latch breaking away from the hood. This happens on cheaply made hoods.

I would personally put hood pins on any aftermarket hood. Just for added safety sake. Poorly installed parts on my car is defiantly not how I want to meet my creator. lol

car is lowered with goldline springs, has a mazdaspeed exhaust, a custome intake and a set of 17's waiting to go back on.

Very true, I had a hood pop up on me on me once, then after a new hood, new window, i bought hood pins

Bah It's so hard.. I hear things like this all the time, then I hear people saying "I've never had any problems". Is it a problem of air getting up under the hood or something? I could do that how-to someone posted with the weather stripping or something.

Sorry about the threadjack, nice car. Looks like mine did last summer with the whole CF hood but still stock wheels thing. It made my modding look really unbalanced, which made me want to mod more to even it out :P
