DFW Favorite Roads

I'm accually planing on being in Arizona and California March 10th thru the 18th.

The Fredricksburg run is a fun one. I did that one back in 2003 with the WRX folks. That was fun. I was the only non-WRX that could keep up. I will see if I can find that thread...

Let's not forget the road leading to Joe Pool Lake. It goes from Grand Prarie over to Cedar Hill, and is pretty nice.

Also, highway 917 that goes from Mansfield to I-35 is nice also. By the way we have an OLD thread concerning this, but a new one is needed. I will have to find that thread too.

Heck that road runs over I-35 turns West and then goes all the way to Godley. As of late 917 has gotten full of traffic and it is not very safe to drive on in a spirited manner.
I like my new gated Hood it has very few houses and at night I use the private internal roads as my own AUTOX. Allthough I have to avoid the prying eyes (boom05) of the guards. You may only be going 40 but it is a lot of fun when your doing it on an uninhabited CulDeSac (cool)
My 11 yr old loves to go along for the ride.

I hit 917 on the way to Waco this morning before the rain came. It was nice! I need new shocks! Time to upgrade to the Tokico Illumina's (white).
