Here's a few shots of my Alice. She's all put away for the winter now, so bumpers are coming off, engine parts are coming out, and the work begins. My insurance doesn't go back on her until May, so it's time to get to work on the winter upgrades. Here's a few pics of her this fall in the last summer state before switching hoods and rims off for the late weeks of fall. Comments welcome! See sig for mods list. Since the engine bay pics, red Samco hoses have been installed.

Damn, i love your engine bay. Just curious, what kind of paint did you use to paint your fuse box and your radiator fluid tank? I have mine painted, but it's chipping already.

Here's a few more before the JDM tails went in, taken late August.

I work at a body shop. All you see there was color matched to the rims (white) and the underhood red of the car, and prepped and sprayed accordingly.

Damn, i must say that it came out really nice. Any problems with the paint chipping? How long have you had them painted? I'm thinking about getting them painted professionally now, instead of having to repaint mine over and over.

I've had them pained for about a year now, no chipping at all. I put about 20 hours into the prep of al lthose piecves, but it paid off. Used adhesion promoter, and all techniques to keep it from peeling. So far it's paid off!

Looks good Nick! Did you know that there is a basketball rim on your hood? You should buff that out. (lick) Damn, there is some tall ass grass out there in Cowtown...(hah)

I'm looking to do something similar to that to my hood. How or what is it that you did to it?

iON V-Weave hood, custom painted hood. Left the center carbon fiber, and painted the sides red, with a black painted stripe in between. I work at a body shop, so it was pretty easy for me to have that done well. Be forewarned though, 99% of shops will not replace the hood should they **** it up. (And that is REALLY easy to do if you want the center left in carbon.) If it is sanded to ofar, theepoxy will be broken through, and the hood is garbage. Make sure a reputible shop does it, and be prepared to pay out your ass for a job well done! (naughty) Thanks for all the comments!
