Sedan trunk custom box placement help

I just checked for double posts, hopefully I searched enough.

Here are some pictures of the sedan trunk. I'm trying to figure out where I can put either 2 small custom boxes or 1 larger box for 2 8" subs, but I need to waste as little trunk space as possible. I'd really like to keep the functionality of the jack and spare tire as well as have the box(s) attached to something solid so that i can take turns as fast as i do now without things flying around.

Feel free to take the pictures and paint on arrows or anything.

After looking at the pictures I noticed that the corners nearest the tail lights are different shapes. that makes it hard to match 2 separate boxes. it might be possible to make 1 box in either side, but I'd worry about the sound quality.

The only other place that would be cool for a speaker that I can think of is the corner against the side walls, the trunk floor, and the seat backs.

Thanks.

usually those are a pressure release for the trunk. i wouldn't worry to much about each side being diffrent, u can measure them with water or sand or whatever and adjust the insides to they match pretty closely. if your doing sealed, a small diffrence in box size really won't be noticable in sound.

i made fg boxes for each of my 12 to fit in the back corners right behind the tailight. they fit perfectly and i still have almost the whole trunk left open. i would imagine that 2 8s can easily fit in one side with alot of room left over.

another good fg tutorial in a p5...http://www.e-kittan.com/fibre.html

Has anyone ever stuck subs in the trunk lid? Besides the vibration on the liscense plate it might be possible to make a box and seal it there. You could take it off the car and inside to work on it too.

The weight of the enclosure might be too heavy for the stock rods. Its a good thought though.

Yes it would. I was thinking of adding a strut (like the kind that holds hatchback rear doors up) to push the trunk up.

I think vibration would be a problem, weight, and sealing a box in that area would be tough (lots of taping), but I think it could be done.
