Problems: Turbo kit& MPI Piggyback

Igdrasil the kit came with a forge BOV or BPV????? it doesnt look like a the rest bov on teh market..it looks like a round unit with cushion between it..i'll try to get pics..

I ran it up to the gas station and it was running like it was lean then rich( bogging) or more like when you run a car with the a/c on and the compressor kicks in.....I didnt have the laptop running battery was low so i'll take it out again and monitor the things that Bigg tim said to look for..

hahahah...yes linux you and the Captain have been the only one to identify it so far..I guess the kit goes back a longtime...well the newest problem....I've been reading the vac on my boost gauge and it is -10 to -20 press. what the fuggly????? it's sucking in air when it should be getting the damn thing with the turbo....I think that an injector might be bad...it idles and then drops...idles and drop...I also kept my hand on the coil pack and its getting hott!!!!the same one I replaced ( passenger side coil)I dont know what cylinders this is... what do you guys think is wrong?

My fuel calibration is set to 0 but I have 5's in the column just to get it to start and idle and im slightly backfiring,,,is that where it's too much fuel and its not getting burnt..also I dont have a catalyst convertor on...I do have a question about the EGR piping that runs into the stock manifold...I have a high temp hose connected to it and it is running back down into the downpipe can this be a problem? I dont think it is but I havent seen this discussed before.

I think your idle is a bit lean

Try this...

IDLE put a 7 instead of 5.

And RPM drop zone put a 4...This is to lean a bit the low rpm, so the car shouldnt stall because of a bog damn rich setting.

o.k I'll try this....but I have the drop zone at 5 and the idle up to 10... but why would my vacc. be set at under instead of saying like 4psi or something????

I will upload a video so you can have an idea of how the Boost Gauge should look like.

At Idle...it should stay at -20 as you accelerate it will go fast to the "0" vac, and then it will start to build some boost. Give me a few minutes.
 
o.k thanks...I was almost at a point of destroying everything..hahah..so my vacc is o.k...my battery is dead from starting it up soo much so I'll have to charge it so that I can upload the settings on the MPI...I'll be here dont have to work till 4pm..

Well Guys the turbo kit is coming out......Im pretty sure that it's something wrong with the car thats not associated with the kit or the MPI tuner...I read up and found out that people have had problems with there injectors and that it needs to be taken to mazda so that they can fix the problem ....i'll try to get around the warranty by putting on my stock items....also with the MPI tuner installed..what can I do to get things back to the way they where?????? so that they dont have to snoop around.

Plus::::::::::::::: I sold my 93 rx7 Twin Turbo (headbang)

So Im going for one of the newer kits...MAM here I come...
 
The rx7 was modded already...half bridge port motor with a T-04R single turbo set up and it has 49k original miles on it 460Whp....The reason I sold it: I now reside in MAss. and the cold weather is not friendly nor the roads. There more potholes where I live than I can possibly describe...winter comes(snow) plows, salt, and then summer...and they just patch the s*** up instead of paving a portion of the street......You should see me trying to avoid the potholes ...matter of fact I think I can get these streets into a autoX course or something..hahahhah

I also have two kids now and a wife..2 seater doesnt fit well as a second car..well the rx8 might(rockon)

welcome to the MAM darkside!!!(lol2) sorry to hear you couldn't get that puppy running!! were you having problems with the injectors before adding the turbo?
 
HAHAHAH...bazooka now we will have the same set up....The problem is a stuck injector from what the dealer told me it sounds like...they have had that problem happen to others.....they told me that also could have cause part of the problems with the coil frying?????...Now I have to put everything back to stock

Igdrasil: Im going to put it up for sale.. REASON: im going to invest in the MAM kit...why? His kit uses the MPI tuner and I currently have the MPItuner so it somewhat reduces the price for the kit. My kit is a custom set up and having people with the same kit will Increases the knowledge shared just like the MPItuner Community.

Igdrasil. I appreciate your help and others while trying to get this thing to run...but this was more fustrating than installing my single turbo kit on my rx7...matter of fact I raced my Rx7 in Salinas Speedway in P.R. now thats where the line of insane racing happens....

P.S....What to do to get my setting back to stock so that they dont have to go fiddling around...I dont want them to find out I have the MPITUNER and say that its not covered..since my is still under warranty.(evil)
