i still have the mazdaspeed, but got me a new project car. A 1971 Datsun 510. right now the plan for the car are to put a turbo'ed KA24 into it. i would like to do the SR20, but its not worth the price of it unless you want to jerk off to JDM stuff. R31 coilovers, R32 rotors and 4 piston calipers, R31 rotors and calipers in the back. modified bre paint job, bre fender flairs and thats about all i can think off right now. She is not beautiful right now typical 30 year old car. but she runs pretty good with the 40mm Weber carbs and canon manifold

Sweet car. Why does it remind me of Lada 2106 and Fiat? Because they are from the same era. The sad thing that Lada 2106 that was first in production around 1973 is still on the market to this day. Here are some pics.

lol...ladas are wierd cars. I seen a ton of em when Iw as in Hungary.

Wonder if there are any hooked up trabants(lol2) its a RWD 4 stroke V-twin two door, with a body made out of epoxied newspaper.(lol2)

I am russian : ) Many countrys that were under soviet regime had a bunch of them. They were really good cars back in 60's and 70's. Not anymore though...

We actually used to own a lada 2106 that was made as sad as it is in 1995. It still looked almost identical to the way they looked back in '73...

Funny thing, three of them have the same favorite car. Every time they see one they point and "ooh" and "aaah"....guess what it is? Mazda6

prolly slow though since i believe it only comes with the 2.0, which is still big for euo cars. My friends told me that if your engine is bigger than 1.5 your insurance goes up a lot(boom07)

very possibly, but do you see the similarity of lada and datsun 510? The same square roof line, the same 4 separate lights, similar intereior, similar looking engine... the list goes on...

Ever since I first saw one Ive wanted to bring a Polski fiat over here. You just dont understand how ridiculous the thing is till you see one.

It cant weigh more than 1500lbs. Its smaller than a miata and has a 4-stroke v-twin in it (lol2)

I wonder how much more than what I pay. I pay 5000 a year on insurance, never had an accidents and all tickets out of Canada. Insurance companies in Qubec **** you. As soon as they hear GT or V6 or the combo. things are not looking good for your piggy bank.

Damn freek...I'm sooo jealous!! I've been looking around trying to find a 510 for sale in fair condition but have come up with nothing close to what I want...Did you happen to catch the orange one for sale on Ebay last week?? It was awsome...Congrats, and good luck fixing that bad boy up!!
