but yeah, after seeing the vid - you definately need engine mounts!!!!!

see your problem now with the kartboy bushings is they are keeping the middle to the rear of the exhaust still, but the engine still moves, so all of the movement gets focused straight into the flex joint and the area around it
 
Okay, all fixed. Got the 4 point ladder from Corksport and all is good. Here are a few pics.

The Ladder bar looks pimp......a friend of mine just ordered one for his P5, cause his high flow cat was hitting his crossmember.....pretty much your situation. From looking at those pics, it should be fine.
 
wow i like that alot. how was the install? noticable diffrence? i like alot of the gt spec stuff prob goign to be my next mods.

Real easy install. Four 17mm bolts and and that's it. No noticeable difference but it weighs a whole lot less. The bar feels like three pounds and the old piece feels 10-15lbs. One of these days, I will weigh it. Anything to help weight reduction.

the performance feels a lot better especially without the rattle. I still need to get back to the track but the butt dyno tells me there is definitely more power.

I got the AWR mounts last week for the AT. I installed the front one but that didn't help. I took it out because it made my car vibrate like a mofo. That and the the midpipe hitting and I forgot to mention my exhaust pipe started to hit at the top, right where the pipe goes over the axle. That I fixed by changing my Kartboy hangars back to stock. The Kartboy hangars are too narrow and began to slide side to side. Today, I am happy to say not one single sound from the exhaust system except for the rumble of my RB exhaust.

protege speed - when i first put my front engine mounts in it rattles like hell...but then i tightened them as much as possible with an impact wrench. it reduced the rattle by a lot! maybe you can try that...
 
I was told that they probably need breaking in. I will try your suggestion when I put it on again...most likely when I go to the track.

hey protegespeed! do you think the ladder bar will work on the MAM motorsports midpipe because mine is also hitting the cross member and I too have tried washers but to no luck! -J
 
Well Hell!

I have had the OBX header on my car for about a month or so. I put the racing beat catback on about a week ago.

The exhaust really has some vibration going on, but it only hits anything at the end of the setup. The exhaust tip shakes and occaisonally hits the bumper.

I ordered kartboy hangers just like 2 days ago......

Looking at what I've read, I am screwed, right?
