nasty wreck

this just goes to prove.....you shouldn't attempt to drive above your means....

it also proves that audi's don't wrap around trees very well.

i am sure you can figure out what is under the sheets on the ground.

and to prove that this crash is not real, look at the ground, it's very undisturbed, you figure if large chunks of car and engine went flying at 100+mph they would tear up the dirt at least a bit

don't mean to ruin our learning activity here, Sir Nuke's lesson still stands, it's just that the crash itself is not real :), also if you look at the sheets you CAN figure out what's underneath --- nothing.
what about the tree and all the metal and plastic wrapped around it? how do you stage that?

I have the complete presentation on this sceen...its very real....especially the two dead people. but you are welcome to believe what you want. I personally hadn't seen it before a week or so ago.

not here to discuss whether the crash is real or not, just to support nuke's point. if those pics didn't made an impression on you, maybe these will.

this was a scene at the entrance to my community/development one friday night after i was coming home from a meet. this guy wasn't in our club btw. i know the pics suck, sorry. it is a silver protege5. went into the lake after hitting the tree and was COMPLETELY submerged. divers pulled the 21 year old driver out and pronounced him dead on the scene. according to the witnesses he was DRAG RACING. so I hope from now on there will be less posts in the "Racing Stories" section. drive safely everybody

Either that or when I was in high school they would bring vehicles in that were all smashed up and lecture us about under age drinking and driving.

I saw a story and forum on the internet that this is a very real crash and that the driver (one person) did survive. The supossed driver of this car does do a ? and answer on it. if you search the web you should find it.

well high schools now are bringing in smashed up cars and making it all look real and then bring out students to show what can happen when u drink and drive, etc, etc!
very life like!

My brothers HS actually did a reinactment of what would happen to the students and their families if they were in a accident caused by alcohol. They set up 2 cars and had some kids from the drama department laying on the ground and out of the windsheild and stuck in the car etc etc.. They actually cut the car with the jaws of life to get the kids in the car out. It was very real..some of the kids started crying because they later went onto the football feild and acted out a funeral ceremony for those who 'died' in the crash. A lot of people started crying.

yeah, the point of all of this is that this is real people. you could really get ****** up or worse yet die. think about what your siblings will go through when a cop shows up at their door asking them to go id the body.

Yep, it's a fact of life. You only live once. How you choose to live is up to you. I've driven like a fool more often than I would care to admit, and the truth is, it's 10% skill and 90% luck that keeps most of us around.

I'm gonna be 27 years old soon(on July 13th) and I've lost friends in the WTC, Iraq, Overdoses, Murders, Cystic Fibrosis, Natural Causes, and suicides. Death always sucks - nothing could be a more pressing reminder of our own impending mortality. My Mother sent me this quote the other day in email:

"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving
safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in
broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly
proclaiming -- WOW--What a Ride"

I don't know what else to say, death sucks, fun rules - and risk tends to lead to that rush we all interpret as fun. I try to use my best judgement, and listen to the advice of others.

HAHA, Happy Birthday, I turn 27 on the 6th this month...

I had a bf killed by a drunk driver. Reenactments cant do justice to the pain it causes for friends and family. My bf wasn't even drinking.. He had actually made a resolution the day before to quit drinking and decided on a college and pretty much proclaimed that he was changing his life from that day forward. THen some drunk **** killed him. It was 6 years ago this april

Everyone in my highschool was changed. I'm sure that over time the impact has worn off for those that weren't as close to him. But I'll do anything I can to keep a friend from driving not just drunk, but after drinking anything.

OK riddle me this batman, what did they use to get the 2 halfs of the car out there? I seriously doubtanyone would rent a crane for this. Other then that the most ikely method is a truck or two that the parts are dumped and dragged off of. Yet there is no marks form that either. Hence, the ground not being disturbed relly is not evidence unless you really believe a crane was involved.

Not to mention that the parts are under a tree and unless that treee has almost no branches then a crane would not be able to place the halves there. They would still have had to move them under the tree, aka draged them.

As I mentioned before...I have the entire presentation of images...including the tree that was impacted...the remainder of the car that is still attached to the tree.....guys.....this was not put up here to start some debate as to whether or not these images are real or not....they were ment to make a point.....of which most of you have missed entirely.
