A good friend of mine has a 2003 Protege 5, recently have
experience a few minor problems, i've tried searchin' thru the forum, but not much help
anyhow.....
1. the passenger side Front/side/rear/dash arrow signal...
i'm runnin' Falken 912 235/40/18 on RX8 wheels.... 360-aa-a
and Pirelli Pnero Zero M+S 215/45/18 on OEM wheels for winter...
i've never had the OEM potenzas...i had my dealership swapped out
the potenza for pirelli~
i only did the gauge installed myself, but all the wire hookups and connections were assissted by "mazda6mtx". however, he placed my
sensor between the struct tower and battery, and routed the
electrial wire near the pedals/fuse box (there were bunch of wires
there already stock, j/ need to...
IMO, go defi if you are doin' multiple of gauges...or unless you are a
defi fan...and willin' to drop +$200 CAD for 1 unit...
Like i've mentioned in my first post, the STRI sensor will screw up under extreme cold, but once the car is warmed up, and you restart the car...
it will go back to...

I'm not sure if you can test drive one now, cuz they are ridin' OEM potenza summer tires, and it's not safe drivin' w/ the potenza, and
you are puttin' urself in great danger. those potenza are hard like a hockey puck!
