Can't you buy green stuff at PepBoys?

Can the rotors be turned? Some genius at Goodyear told me I would probably need new rotors when I put the pads on. That true? Where do I get the green stuff pads from? Are those the best value?

I took it in and they are telling me it's the rear left shock. Is there a bushing attached to the shock that might be bad? 58k miles on the car btw. Can I only get the shocks at the dealer? They are saying it'll be about $300 to replace both rear shocks. Are these the best shocks to put on...

Yeah it is out of warranty so they didnt do a whole lot for me on it. They lubed the hatch lock and looked at the suspension. It doesnt sqweak when I break though.
