Can the rotors be turned? Some genius at Goodyear told me I would probably need new rotors when I put the pads on. That true? Where do I get the green stuff pads from? Are those the best value?

Yeah it is out of warranty so they didnt do a whole lot for me on it. They lubed the hatch lock and looked at the suspension. It doesnt sqweak when I break though.

I have a sqweaking noise coming from the rear of my 5 door. I jumped on the back bumper and it didnt sqweak so I dont think it is the suspension. You can hear it inside and outside the car when I drive, especially when I go over bumps. Any ideas?

Good Call THE MAN. I took it in today and that is exactly what was wrong. Stupid oil change people over tightened the drain plug on the oil filter and cracked the cap.

My 04 only had a 48 month 50000 mile warranty. So the corporate office for Mazda said for me to take it to the dealer and see if they can offer me goodwill. Is that going to be only parts? That will only save me like $30 if so. Is this typically a $300-$500 type thing to have done?

Am I better off getting them to replace that? Money wise wouldn't I be better at a local shop? Anything under warranty I should get them to look at?
