As others have experienced, my system is in a constant state of rebooting. Dealer wants over $1300 to replace CMU, which is cute. I figured I'd replace myself. Many videos show how easy it is. However, I can't find a CMU anywhere for sale. Does somebody have a good link?

did you ever figure this out? My CMU failed and I can't find one anywhere other than OEM for $1300 is that's not happening.

My OCD tendencies are why I'm leaning toward the SD card. More research is showing that it's pretty easy to hardwire but still need a cable running down. Maybe one of those solar power chargers would work. :)

I have V.55 in my car. I FINALLY GOT IT TOO WORK. I turned off iMessage. I also turned on 'show on lockscreen'. Normally I don't want anything other than 'badge' telling me I have a text message. Apparently you also need it to show a notification on lock screen. So that was the issue.
