2 points to think about here.
1. My MPG kept increasing up to about 3,000 miles which I'm attributing to break in so it may be early to test fuels.
2. The percent of increase in mpg has to be more than the percent increase in higher octane fuel cost over 87 for it to be beneficial from purely...
Yep, you can definitely lock the keys inside. I checked for my wife. You can't on my Nissan with the comfort access but you definitely can with the CX-5.
I have a CX-5 with the same audio unit I believe. I think the way I got mine to work was to wait to plug the ipod in until the car had started and the audio screen powered up. Haven't used it in a while though so I may be mis-remembering.
I agree, it's super annoying. Here are two things that I do that help but it's ridiculous that we have to do this.
1. Get a silent 5 minute mp3 here http://www.xamuel.com/blank-mp3-files/5min.mp3 and rename it in iTunes something like 001 Silent for both the title and artist. 001 is important...
On my 2014 FWD I usually get 390 miles or so before two bars of fuel left on the gauge. Two days ago I drove 10 miles past 0 miles remaining on Empty and could only get 11.8 gallons into the tank at fill up and it's a 14.8 gal tank so the reserve is pretty hefty for when the Empty light goes off.
For me it's an economical issue since mine runs great on 87. In my area there is a .40 cent spread between regular and premium. So taking those numbers above:
Regular = $3.55 30.5 mpg = 11.64 cents a mile
Premium = $3.95 32.0 mpg = 12.34 cents a mile
That .7 cents a mile higher would cost...
I emailed about the same issue 3 weeks ago and got a call back yesterday from Mazda USA rep named Jean. I explained the issue but she didn't seem to know any info as to whether it's being researched or if corporate is really aware of the problem. I asked her to elevate the issue up the ladder...
Yeah, I've experienced the annoying resume issue. Is that the Mac program I'm seeing on EricDaugherty.com? Looks like the same program name. Is this different from exporting a playlist from iTunes in the m3u format?
Thanks
Searched the forum but haven't found this. I've tried the normal .m3u playlist format but the headunit won't recognize them. Any other methods?
I have a 2014 Touring with Tech Package audio.
Is it normal that the carpet isn't glued to the floor of the car? When I remove the floor mats I have to hold the carpet underneath down or I feel like I'll detach it completely. I can pull up the carpet 6-8 inches off the floor and have never noticed that on my other cars.
