Good point! By certified, do you mean safety-wise or emissions...All of the above? I would imagine that as a platform with shared drivetrains etc it wouldn't take much to certify for North America but that's just a thought, not certain...Food for thought!

Excellent points, Matt...I think it's also Mazda's intention to be in the BMW conversation (which seems to be happening here a lot more now). Great way to look at the CX-70 (as a more value oriented or sporty CX-90) and why Mazda does not yet offer a high performance spec like BMW is beyond...
