Power Seat Feels Rough or Bumpy When Moving Forward or Backward

Hi, on my 2025 Mazda CX-5, both the driver’s and passenger’s power seats feel rough or bumpy when moving forward or backward. It’s been like this since day one. I’m not really eager to take it to the dealership because of past bad experiences with warranty work. Maybe there’s a simple fix? It’s a minor issue among many other minor issues, but still disappointing on a new car.

Clean and lube the rails with silicon spray my solve the issue

Yes, it does. But not so noticeable as when I sit in it

mine kind of do the same..not terrible but can feel slight roughness of the screws..23 turbo..has not changed in the last 46000 miles so probably normal. my wife is the primary driver so her setting is quite different than mine so each time I drive it has to travel pretty much the full range of the seat.

I was experimenting with the power driver seat positioning in my '22 yesterday, and I also noticed the slight roughness. So I would agree that it likely is normal.
