YesI think you'll block a substantial amount of air flow. Are you doing it for looks?
Do you have the roof bars? Put the light bar up there. If you don't have the roof bars, install them, and still put the light bar up there.

I’m considering LED light bars or round spotlights – any recommendations?

Not only that, but it looks hideous and shines right into the eyes of oncoming drivers. These things on the road drive me crazy.I think you'll block a substantial amount of air flow. Are you doing it for looks?
I can agree but also disagree. From my point of view, it depends on conditions. I live in Norway, in winter it's quite dark, not so many street lights, a lot of animals... So to install it, put in on switch, so you can activate/deactivate it whenever you need itNot only that, but it looks hideous and shines right into the eyes of oncoming drivers. That sounds a lot more responsible than what I see here. I see people put them on their cars and drive around with them in the city. It's a crutch for their poor aging headlights. They really just need to replace their old headlights which are properly designed with a cutoff so they don't blind oncoming traffic.I can agree but also disagree.
