Auto windshield wiper issue?

:
2019 CX-5 Signature
I have a 2019 Signature and usually leave my front windshield wiper in the automatic setting. But now it never turns off, even on a sunny day, acting more like an intermittent setting.

Anyone else had this issue? Just wondering if there’s a quick fix or if it’s an expensive repair.

Check in your infotainment "vehicle settings" to see if the auto wiper setting has changed?

Solution
Another interesting tidbit... The owner's manual says that windshield coatings to make it hydrophobic can affect the automatic wiper performance. Yet dealerships really push having it coated.

The auto wiper system in my 2022 Premium works not nearly as well as my 2011 Suzuki Kizashi did. Seems like by the time the auto wipers figure it out, the rain has stopped.

That is really interesting. I have never been blown away by the responsiveness.
