Yup. I bet they were not "Sold by Amazon". Impossible for fakes to enter the supply chain if Amazon is buying from the normal channels.

for me I can always come up with lots of reasons to get a new vehicle as I have a sickness for new cars but $100 or even $140 once every 2 1/2 years or so for spark plugs isn't one of them. What is your list of negatives that you have compiled? So far at a bit over 32000 on my not quite 2 year old cx5 I have not found too many things that have me willing to fight with the wife about to trade it. She loves it. My only real complaint is the info system. it is probably the least friendly info system I have come up against. there are several things I don't like about the info system and strangely enough the lack of a touch screen isn't one of them.

My list of negatives:
1. gas mileage - I've mentioned this prior about mpgs. Different gearing and or more gears are needed for better mpgs. Driving 70mph and tacking 2400rpm is high. I'm not driving slower to get pasted by old ladies.
2. Seats are hard compared to others.
3. Info system - While I'm happy with the overall sound of the stereo navigating within is irritating.
4. No remote start on fob. I don't want to use my phone to start my car
5. MFS- Everyone month when I make my payment I add extra. To get that added to the principle I have to call in and talk to a rep for them to do it. At least 10 mins each month of my time is spent on this. IDK why they can't add this as payment option when paying. If I don't call in the extra just goes towards next months payment lowering it. I don't need it lowered I want the principle lowered.
6.Cold weather activates my TPMS sensor all the time. Tires are not low on pressure.
6a No Tire pressure readout on dash cluster to see actual tire pressure.
7. Frost/moisture on front windshield deactivates auto headlights. At times they just stay on while a car is close by. Other times they don't turn on and it's completely dark out with no other lighting around and I have no high beams active. So while nice this feature is inconsistent for me. (My wife's Tuscon doesn't have issues at all) Probably why mine is so much more noticeable to me.

Since I complained alot I'll give some positives:
1. power
2. headlights at night (when working)
3 Styling
4. Stereo system
5. heated/vented seats and heated steering wheel work great

Gas mileage is high, no, I won't slow down to try and improve it. Just complain instead. Lol

1. I am lucky my 23 turbo gets good mpg usually around 30mpg and I drive fast as live in Montana and if you don't drive 85 you can flipped off by old ladies who are late for church.
2. I love the seats just got back from a 2400 mile roadtrip and did some 700+ days. but seats are a personal thing so I can understand that complaint.

6. has not happened and l live in Montana and just got back from Minnesota and never once activated. I did get an alert on my app that was from October for some reason.

as far as your likes..

2. agree very good at night especially high beam.
3. I actually think it looks really dated and can handle the front but I think the rear looks terrible.
4. it sounds great to my old ears.

totally get where you are coming from. fortunately my dislikes are less than my likes but I can see how if the seats are not comfortable for you I would be looking for something else. I also don't like my paint quality on my rhodium white but I do like the workman ship on the interior and body panels. I think it is a well put together car.

well if he is already only driving 70 I don't think you can really slow down without being a hazard. Where I live people freaking run you off the road if you are only driving 70 and when you get to where you are going your grandma is waiting to slap the s*** out of you for slowing her down.

not me I like to drive at least the speed limit but I also put a lot of miles on 33000 miles in under 2 years and live in a big state so driving slow doesn't cut it. but fortunately mine gets good mpg. it is funny how some get good mpg at 80mph and others don't. Luck of the draw i guess.

Have over 32,000 miles so decided to look up ordering some sparkplugs for the 40,000 recommended plug change and dealer msrp is over $35 per plug...at least it looks like a simple job. looks like Mazda Swag has them for $25 a pop but $14 shipping. I guess ordering an air filter at the same time will lessen the pain .

Check autonation parts they ship nationwide and reasonable prices

I had a 2022 civic si and only a couple aftermarket options for the civic now and one required modifications to fit over the hooks. Seems like most manufacturers are trying to keep you in their eco system for sure. Really annoying if you are in a pinch.

I haven't ever replaced the wipers on my CX yet, but I have them in my cart at Amazon. I just took a look at the prices, three wipers all right around $15 each.

For wiper blades, I've been using the Duralast brand for my CX-5. They're about $14ea for the left, or the right, or the rear blades.

Kept fairly clean, and wiping the blades clean of dirt/dust at each fuel fill-up, they last about a year, sometimes longer if I'm not using the wipers all that frequently. Cheap "insurance,", to keep the wiper blades fresh and chatter-free. Installed every autumn before the wintry weather comes, a whole set (L, R, rear) comes in at roughly the price of one tank of gas.
