Got to my moms finally and was able to give the car a proper cleaning, inside and out. Heading out to cars and coffee tomorrow morning in Cape Coral. Should be fun.

Hit up a car show in North Port Saturday. Nice show lot of good old American muscle on display. A great looking 69 Bronco that the owner, who inherited it from his uncle, had done a frame off restoration. Some hot rods, T bucket, a few trucks, couple of imports and one Miata!

Love the old Broncos. Used to drive one for work fresh out of high school. Old three on the tree. Taught myself how to drive a standard that summer.

It was held at American Vets club in North Port, and run by the South Florida Car club. There were about 125 cars and trucks, mostly America hot rods, muscle classics...trucks and cars. Some imports a couple of nice 240 and 260 Z’s. Only 12 trophy’s were handed out, I got one of the judge’s choice.

Hit up my last FL car show today in Punta Gorda. Sponsored by the Kiwanis club. Great show, lots of awesome cars! There was a bad accident as an old timer had a tough time with his Lincoln and hit two guys sitting in front of their cars then plowed into a red hot rod which hit another car and another. The two guys went fling but suffered minor injuries. Cars did not fair as well.
