I just recently upgraded from a 2009 CX-9 GT (1st gen) to a 2019 CX-9 GT (2nd Gen). Two questions:
1) My 2009 had the OEM 20" GT wheels/tires. I previously purchased a 18" x 8" winter wheel set from Tirerack that fit perfectly. It looks like the offset, bolt pattern, center bore, thread size, etc are all the same on the 2nd Gen CX-9, but with a slightly wider wheel now (8.5 vs. 7.5"). Any reason you think the existing winter wheel setup won't work on the new car?
2) The 2019 CX-9 has 315MHz TPMS sensors in each tire, but no display showing each tire's pressure. Is it possible to buy a 3rd party display (either battery powered or hardwired to car) that syncs with the existing TPMS and displays the data? I know there are full 3rd party systems out there, but since we already have the sensors I think we just need something to read/display it.
thanks
