Anyone having issues with ezpass reading on a 2017 GT. I put the transponder just right of the new camera/sensor box behind the mirror and not getting read at times. Thanks.

On my 2017 i don't have issues with regards to those electronic pass for highway considering I have a tint.

Have you tried transferring it to a different location?

I use the type that mounts to the front license plate to avoid this problem and it works great. You might check to see if these are available in your area. They call them bumper tags here.

You shouldn't have any issues there at all.

I have an electric hwy transponder at the red star and don't have any issues.

They're usually leased (at least here) - can you get yours swapped out if it's having issues?

How old is the transponder? At least where I live, it's got a battery. They guarantee the battery will last 3 years, and I think the expectation is it can fail at around 5 years. If the transponder is 5+ years old, consider replacing it.

We installed ours in exactly the same spot.

Haven't had a chance to test if that part of the windshield blocks the signal...
Will keep an eye on it.

I have mine butted up against the sensor unit and is some of the 'tinting' ; left of the star. It's a fairly new transponder. I'll move it further right and hopefully will still be out of eyesight.

Sometimes the "tinting" might cause issues

Ya, mine's completely off of the screened sun shade. Try shifting a bit.

Again, we haven't needed to use it yet but were optimistic that this location shouldn't be a problem.

That location maybe fine but depending on the angle of the collection sensors, it might not pick it up (scratch)

Mine is on the right side. I moved it to the right an inch and worked this morning.
