My experience from this morning confirmed others comments, the auto dial setting does go down to 60 degrees, not 65 as I had previously thought. My bad. However, as I was tinkering with the different settings, I did happen to notice that the auto settings appear to be working in manual mode as well (Auto light on dial was OFF). It was hovering around the low 50s this morning so I only wanted fresh air coming in through the ventilation system. I turned auto off, temp down to 60 and AC off. Blowing in cool outside air as expected. However, if I rotated the dial upwards to 75 degrees, the air direction switched to feet and the temp rose to start pumping in warm air to the cabin. I understand the temp rising, but changing the airflow direction also? Is this the way it is supposed to work? Is there really no true 'manual' mode (other than 'manually' turning the dials and adjusting the fan controls)?
