Full UK spec brochure is now available.......

You sure about that?

There are two problems:

First, for $47k you could buy a CX-9 Signature here and have money left over.

Second, importing a car into the United States that's under 25 years old is not easy. If the car you want to import is "substantially similar" to an equivalent US market model of the same model year, and the manufacturer certifies that the car meets US emissions and safety standards, then you're good. This approach only works for importing cars from Canada, because a lot of manufacturers treat the US + Canada as a single market. A car built for the EU or Japan market won't meet these conditions because the emissions and safety standards are different.

Your only other choice is to modify the car to meet US regulations, which could be as easy as changing software and headlight lenses, or it could be hard. And then you have to crash test it (no kidding) and emissions test it. Nobody other than a volume importer is going to do that.

Otherwise this happens:

You think we changed to km with Europe? You probably think we have the Euro as currency then.

No you have the pound and its sinking at the moment. I am too tempted to come see Arsenal at Highbury but their form and the cost both are prohibitive now.

Folks here in TX are saying the Manchester derby is happening in Houston (bang) - which is just a pre season with maybe Fellaini and few others jogging around being substituted.

Ah, no. I was over there last 9 years ago. I know who's using the Euro and who isn't :) Must admit I didn't DRIVE in England, so I never took notice of what was on dashboard lights.

They drive on the wrong side anyway, so who cares? [emoji23][emoji23][emoji6]

Plus they're divorcing Europe, good riddance

And Scotland is trying to get emancipated. Still I had no idea miles were used there. That's what I get for only using the trains.

Clearly us Canadians with our km/h and LHD are among the more advanced...(rockon)

I envy you guys after downloading and reading the brochure! You've got so many options unlike here in the Philippines!

Just recieved my brochure, i like to read from a brochure, not a screen.

Anyway phoned mazda as the one they sent only shows pictures with little spec, no weights etc, so they are sending me another.
From the comic they sent it looks like my model has a sun roof now?

Yes, if you order the 175 engined SportNav.

Got a big brochure while I was in the other day. Mine had to have new rear calipers due to the parking brake sticking.

Still got the same daft restriction on the radar cruise control - you can't have it with the stone leather!
