What did you pay for your CX-5?

That's why I find most of this info useless. Show me an itemized bill of sale so I know exactly what was paid for each line item.
It's not useless at all. I've been rather clear on my MSRP pricing that it INCLUDED freight. Further, I DO NOT head to the dealer until
I have that itemized bill of sale in my hand. The only thing useless here when sharing quotes is total OTD pricing because we all have different tax rates by State. All I care about is the selling price. Please continue to share those...

That's why I used the word "most". You are rather the exception. When someone simply says I got $28,500 out the door, what the hell does that mean? Doc Fees? Trade-in off-set? Sales tax (especially when folks like you have it capped at $300)?

Then folks have to come back and say, "can you clarify what you meant? Did that include such-and-such?"

Just a quick search gave me this info on Employee Pricing. Looks like each employee gets a PIN that allows them to buy at a special price up to 4 cars per year.

Overall Info
Example Savings

I haven't had a chance to dig into the numbers, but it looks like it gives $2,888 off the MSRP of the 2016 CX5 AWD GT.
Thanks for the info. I just didn't put 2 and 2 together I guess with what EP stood for as I've already been offered more than that off from several deals.
Now if he wants to combine that with the $2k CC and give me $5k off, well he probably just sold a car. Here we go...

Haha! I feel you. Hell, the Dest fee included ? Has been whipped to death in here too.

Yeah, my comment was only meant to imply "proceed with caution". I could have worded that a bit more mildly.

Too many variables for too many buyers to take everything here at face value.

I am a bit annoyed that my sales person said there was a $3K additional fee that he wasn't going to charge me (on a 2017 Touring). so I basically paid MSRP. I did get the $500 loyalty discount. He could totally tell I was gullible ... ugh

Wow that is a shady salesperson.

He would've lost a sale with that BS. Sounds about like my local dealer who tried to charge me Over MSRP for a 16.5. Tried again for the hell of it a few weeks ago, still the same. Crazy...

Just made a deal for my 2017 CX-5 AWD and premium package in eternal blue w/ extended 10yr warranty OTD for $35,500. I pick it up Monday!

Car $32877
4yr registration $423
10yr warranty $2200

Hope this helps others shop

What do you think....need to respond quickly

2016.5 Touring AWD (Red ext. / Black int.)
-with wheel locks (hoping to get this off the sale, and roof rack)
-$28,045 MSRP
-$26,844 (my price before taxes, fees, or rebates)
-$29,220 (after taxes and fees, no rebates but 0% financing out the door)

If I take the $2,000 offer....looking at $27,220 out the door cost

If I take the $2,000 I'm saving about $700 over the 0% financing at my credit score and $10,000 down.

What was the price before TTL? It can be hard to gauge a price without knowing that info. In Illinois, I think that would put the car at under $30,000. Assuming the GT?

Seems kinda high to me. That's about a 4% (little more) discount from MSRP. I suppose the customer cash would add to that.

How much are the roof rails and wheel locks adding to the price? Also how much was the soul red on 2016.5s? I don't remember.

Red paint is $300, roof rails $275, wheel locks $55...total "accessories" = $630

This is about the same price off MSRP that others have reported recently when you don't take into account the cash back offer, still a bit high I think, but I hope it's close enough.

I was quoted Soul Red for an extra $250 on my 16.

I should note, I'm working with a broker over the phone on this so I don't have all of the line by line cost savings, but he did mention I was getting all of the accessories at a reduced rate. Anyway, the more important number is the total off MSRP and the out the door prices.

I should note, this is right at about TrueCar is quoting right now.

Actually take that back...It was $300. (295)
