Loose antenna and exhaust leak - warranty?

:
2014 CX-5 Touring
I washed our new to us 2014 Touring a couple weeks ago, and while doing so I noticed the roof antenna is quite loose. I'm sure I could fix it myself, although I'd rather not have to mess around with the head liner. Is that something that would be covered under warranty? The car still has a few thousand miles left of the original warranty.

Also I have noticed particular when the engine is cold, what sounds like an exhaust leak. I haven't been under the car yet to verify if that is the case, but it that something warranty would cover, if it's an exhaust gasket or something that needs to be replaced?

I've never had a car with warranty before which is why I'm asking.

Yeah both issues are covered under 36-month / 36K-mile new-car bumper-to-bumper warranty. Take you CX-5 to a Mazda dealer ASAP and don't wait until the last minutes.

BTW, the exhaust leak noise when engine is cold could be just the higher revs during cold start for SkyActiv-G engine to warm up the catalytic converter faster with pulled timing. If you're not sure, try to compare another CX-5 to feel if there's difference during cold start. But have your dealer checked out nevertheless.

hmm the "As-Is" sticker on the window when we bought the car at the Mazda dealer said it had the original 5 year/60K warranty still on it.

The exhaust leak sound I'm hearing is like a ttbththttht sound (like when your lips are pressed together and you blow air out, like the sound a horse makes sometimes). Not sure how else to explain it. :p

3/36 bumper to bumper; 5/60 limited drivetrain. It's all in your owners' manual. Are you familiar with the cold start mode yrwei52 makes reference to above? It's also in the owners' manual and takes place during the first 20-30 seconds of a cold start. It makes the engine sound very rough and some would describe it as an exhaust leak. It is perfectly normal (assuming it goes way after the idle settles down a bit half a minute later).

60-month / 60K-mile is the powertrain warranty for the CX-5. But for a CPO, your warranty is different as I recall that's one of the reasons why Unobtanium only considers a CPO CX-5.

Your description about the noise sounds right to the cold start on SkyActiv-G engine. Like I said, compare another CX-5 at your Mazda dealer to make sure.
