What have you done to your CX-5 today?

welp wx sucks again, tried out the black roof, not sure if I was feeling it; definitely not in a matte texture. I did like the shark fin black though. I will go back and redo it properly because the whole thing was pretty rough I took it all off.

I think it looks pretty good but in that Texas heat I would imagine it's going to get pretty hot. My truck is white with black wheels so I really like that look.

Hi, Chris. I think the white with black wheels looks great too. Not sure about the hood. I live in SA, TX too. I've probably seen that car out and thought it was nice!

Thanks, quite possibly I get around town (16k mi since sep 21).

You're not going to get the dip the lay down smoothly over such a large surface with the rattle cans. You need a proper spray guy for that. My buddy used the cans on his MS3 roof and it looked like a gang had just tagged it up with wavy lines. Hahaha. Why not vinyl wrap it?

Finally set up and hardwired in my A118C dashcam. Crystal clear quality for a very cheap price, ~70 dollars for the cam from gearbest.

Installed these.

I think the metallic look down low complements the trim in the cabin although it looks a bit washed out with the flash. I wonder if the Dead Pedal might be too much though. I haven't installed it yet. What do you guys think. With or without dead pedal?

Definitely with. It's how it's done with real sports cars. Are those the overpriced (but nice looking) OEM Mazda versions?

Installed the Corksport springs, i was on H&R springs before and my initial thought after installation, its a little stiffer than H&R but comfortable and probably the ride quality will change in a week and the back sits a little to high for my taste, i hope it settles more and the front is perfect

Yeah. I got such a deal on my ride I'm going a little crazy on the accessories.

Nothing wrong with that. They look real nice! Unfortunately, they show a lot of grime over time compared to black plastic, but that's the trade off for beautiful aluminum [emoji106]

Nice. Are you getting the sway bar?

Yeah, I wear work boots that get quite dirty so I've got a seperate pair of driving shoes when going to and from work so that should help some. Accelerator pedal is easy enough to take off and clean. Brake pedal was a PITA though. They recommend soaking the rubber to make it more plyable so maybe I didn't soak it long enough.

I haven't installed my springs yet, but I'm about to do it.
I'm done with the audio part of my install, after I have installed a Kenwood DNN991HD.
Need to hard wire my Escort Redline w/Smartcord and mount it, with a bracket(made by me) to the car.
Then, I install my springs and the lateral links, that I have made.
It looks very nice, I like it a lot.
What is your tire size, wheels size/offset? Any rubbing? Issues, with driveways and such?
Hopefully, Friday or Monday I will drop off my wheels, at the powder coating shop, I think that I will go, with a darker silver/gray and the machined face("lip") will be red.

What size wheel? I may be buying new tires I'd send you my old ones for the cost of shipping + a nominal fee.

^^ thanks, my wheels are 20x8.5 40 offset and my tires are 255/45. After my installation, I drove it around and went over speed bumps and dips on a moderate speed, The only rubbing I noticed is when I made a hard turn or U-turns, the tires rubbed on the inner plastic liner towards the firewall but i think is very minimal.

Simple mod, for a simple feature that I can't believe doesn't come standard on the car:
