It sounds like he stops the car, gets out, moves the camera to a new location drives 5 feet, stops again, moves camera. Despite that, the edited version looks seamless to me.
I enjoyed watching his last cx-5 offroad video (2015?), and this one looks like he might be taking it up a notch.
Do you guys think he was able to get the CX-5 back up that hill? My vote is yes.

He didn't make it up that hill in the '15 video from last spring but a better run at the hill with Geolanders would have made it possible. Cool to see what these vehicles are capable of. I used to be of the mindset that CUVs were not really meant for any off-road use. Other reports here, personal experience and videos like this definitely prove otherwise.

And here I am....thinking how awesome it is when I drive over curbs in a parking lot because I don't want to reverse out. (sadbanana)
The short wheelbase of the CX-5 definitely helps with it's off-road prowess
