Crappy GPS reception - anyone boosted the antenna

Hey guys,
I get pretty tragic reception on the GPS on my 2014 CX-5. Just wondering if anyone has found a way of boosting signal reception? I really don't want to replace the OEM unit.

Our GPS in the USA works great, not sure what system is used in Taiwan.... the more satellites the greater the accuracy...
