I'm in contact with Kevin, from K-Mac suspensions and he is suggesting to send the lateral link to him and he will make a set of turnbuckle arms based on the originals.
I will buy one today and I will ship it to him as soon as possible.
Basically, this arm's adjustment and the rear toe adjustment will change the camber on the rear wheel.
Initially we thought that we can replace the lateral arm inner bushing with an adjustable one, but after I have removed it, I have noticed that there is no pressed in bushing there. The bushing is molded directly into the arm.
Thanks.
I won't give up. If I have too, I will make my own. I have been a machinist for over 25 years. We have six mechanical engineers at work and they could help me too if it's needed, but I rather get it from a reputable place and maybe for free, since I will be the guinea pig.
Most likely, there should be thicker the material for the threads. One thread should be right handed and the other left threaded.
Initially I was thinking about the camber arm myself, but Kevin thinks that the lateral arm would also work.
The lateral arm has a bushing at one end and a U at the other.
For me, the only problem is the welding, I can't weld, the rest is easy.
Our camber arm has a boomerang(banana) shape.
some wheels just look bad by them selves. once on the car it's unique and kinda cool.
never seen wheels like this, and while different, they don't look bad. Practical, no lol
Unique? Not sure about that, they remind me of 1997 Ford F-150 OEM wheels![]()
Those wheels.......the WCI......they have them in the Netherlands too.....but be carefull, a small gutter is hidden behind the spokes, so water and dirt are on the way and making corrosion !! Several friends of mine have had those wheels, they are awesome to look at !!! But not effective and to clean the wheels is a pain in the ass...........because of the gutter.....
Chris, you`ll be better off with the TSW`s hahahahaha..
Don`t worry. it`s just an opinion to the statement........(shady)
To be cleaned with a toothbrush.......hahaha, nevertheless a nice looking wheel...
