The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Exact same thing I said. I bought new beefy ones as a replacement. the allen key is stupid and once it has 10 miles on it will be rusted and stripped yet again. I used a sawzall and cut-off wheel to get mine off

I lubed it up pretty good with anti seize so hopefully i won't have that problem. Also coated it with fluid film in hopes of keeping them from rusting in place

Wife and I might be going to see a movie tonight.

Tomorrow, I'm just chilling, might go for a bike ride with the little one. Sunday, making the rounds to family's houses.

I dunno... I took the RSB off the MSM with just a wrench. Those endlinks have been on there since I did the supsension 3 years ago?

I get pissed and break s***. thats my solution haha.

I start attacking stuff with an air grinder and a hammer.

I have to work some tomorrow morning, then just plan on doing yard work and random things around the house. Going to order some brake pads and rotors at lunch, debating SS lines as well. Saw Fatti was parting a MS6 and had all 4 calipers, the brake upgrade is somewhat tempting but also unnecessary.

Having one helluva time making a decision on suspension for the Civic. I don't want to spend money twice if the first option doesn't work as hoped, but I also don't really want to spend ALL of the money on one thing. Sometimes I wish I could just be "happy" settling for bad Racelands. But nooooo.

Racelands are awesome what are you talking about...

what does unnecessary mean?
From what I have read the only benefits are less brake fade at the track (not doing much of that) and aesthetics of bigger brakes. I would also have to use the OEM 17's for winter which means new tires later.
Whats a wife?
a girl + 2 rings

wouldn't Racelands make you spend money twice anyway?

Tonight I'm hitting le cookout at Track First. Tomorrow I'm helping Marc do some wiring on the RX7 race car. Sunday, Dave and I will be doing my brake pads, rotors, fluid and SS clutch line. Then a tune next weekend and I'll be done wrenching on Fatty!
If I get the bike back, I'll try and swing by Sunday(eekdance)

+2. I put my CBR ram air ducts in with a hammer after messing with them for an hour lol

Racelands would make you spend money over and over again. Unless you have a blown motor then you just buy BC's because no ***** to give! Oh yeah:
-pull the head without draining coolant
-pull the head without timing tools to retime car
-don't put motor at top dead center before pulling head
-just yank off head ZFG!
-pull fuel rail to pull head
-Diamond washers are reusable, right?
-what does torque to yield mean? use over and over?
-My motor is fine, I need new turbo, FMIC, coilovers, rsb, and track wheels/slicks

Headed over to Phen's on Satirday to replace cooling fans, install turbo inlet gasket and possibly the ABS Sensors.....on the MSP....Cookout tonight, Sunday.......install Lauri's JBR/MOCO Mud Flaps......Ever had a day where you just feel like fighting...I have the urge just to drop someone like a bad habit......reminds of the time when this idiot tried to rob me, he looked down and I swung and knocked his ass out and I took his s***...having that kind of a day!
