Cannot disable DSC

Cannot disable DSC *RESOLVED*

I have searched around a bunch but haven't found an answer to my issue. Most DSC issues i found are the light not turning off, in my case I can't get the DSC light to turn on. Its snowed a bunch here in the last couple days and I am trying to turn off the DSC for spots where I need to get the wheels spinning.

When I press the DSC OFF button, nothing happens. No lights come on, and the DSC still engages when I spin on snow. Tried holding it in, pressing it right on startup, in park with foot on brake, everything.

Does a TPMS fault keep me from turning off the DCS? Thanks

does the light illuminate when you turn the car on? does it go off when you start the engine?

the TPMS should not have any correlation to the DSC system.

Along with all the other warning lights, when the key is turned on (but not started) the traction control light turns on, and then after a few seconds turns off. This one:

There are no warning light on when the car is running except for the TPMS.

I just double checked and the "DCS OFF" light does come on when the key is turned on then turns off. So the light itself does work.

Figured out my problem. The actual plug behind the switch wasn't plugged in, must have fallen out somehow. Maybe this will help somebody else out someday.

Plugged back in. There are other plugs stored back here for switches that aren't optioned on the car.

Works fine now.

Push the DSC button once, the yellow light comes on and traction control is turned off

Push the DSC button and hold it in for about 10 seconds and you will see the DSC light and the brake light (in yellow not red) come on. Once the yellow brake light is on, the Traction control and Stability control are off
